Saramonic SR-C2007 3.5mm TRS Female to USB-C Adapter for DJI Osmo Action

The Saramonic SR-C2007 is a short adapter with a 3.5 mm TRS jack and a USB-C connector, designed for the DJI Osmo Action camera. The output cable of a microphone, wireless receiver, recorder or mixer plugs into the jack, and the audio goes straight into the camera instead of coming from its built-in microphones. It supplies plug-in power to battery-free microphones and works without setup, even when plugged in while the camera is running.

The plug of a microphone, receiver or recorder goes into the gold-plated 3.5 mm TRS jack, and the USB-C connector into the camera. The flexible 6 cm cable makes it easier to place the microphone on a rig or mount.

An on-camera microphone on a mount next to the Osmo Action connects through the adapter to its USB-C port. The adapter supports the camera audio protocol, so it works as soon as it is plugged in.

Plug in and shoot

The SR-C2007 needs no settings and can be plugged in while the camera is running. Plug-in power feeds on-camera and lavalier microphones without their own battery.

Additional information

With gold-plated connectors, the adapter carries the signal well and resists corrosion. It suits sports, travel and vlog shooting where the built-in microphones of the action camera are not enough – with an external microphone or wireless kit the video sound is noticeably cleaner.
