Saramonic VMic Mini

The Saramonic Vmic Mini is a very small and lightweight directional microphone for cameras, camcorders and phones. The 69 g aluminium-alloy body carries a 14 mm condenser capsule, an integrated shock mount and a shoe mount with 1/4"-20 thread. It is powered by the connected device (plug-in power) and has no battery or switches – just plug it in. Coiled TRS cable for cameras and TRS–TRRS cable for phones and tablets included.

Aluminium body

The precision-machined aluminium-alloy body is rugged yet tiny: 62 × 117 × 19 mm and 69 g. It suits small cameras, camcorders and phones and fits where a larger shotgun mic will not.

Two cables included

The coiled TRS–TRS cable with right-angle connectors goes into the 3.5 mm mic input of a camera or camcorder, the TRS–TRRS cable into the headphone jack of a phone or tablet.

On a phone

The Vmic Mini attaches to a phone via a phone holder with a cold shoe (sold separately). Compared with the phone’s built-in mic it greatly improves the sound of vlogs, interviews and live streams.

Shock mount

The integrated shock mount has a sturdy, sweeping design. It does not bend like wiry mounts and absorbs bumps and handling noise.

Plug in and shoot

The microphone has no battery and no switches. It is powered over the cable by the camera or phone, so it is ready as soon as it is plugged in.

On a camera or camcorder

The shoe mount slides into the camera’s cold shoe and the metal 1/4"-20 thread at the base lets you mount the mic on a tripod, rig or handle as well. The foam windscreen reduces wind noise and protects the capsule from dust.
