The RGBlink MSP 231S is a compact, plug-and-play SDI to USB 2.0 capture dongle that transforms SDI input signals into high-quality USB output. Supporting resolutions up to 1080P60 with synchronous MIC audio input, it works seamlessly with popular software like OBS, VLC, and AMCAP, making it perfect for live streaming, recording, and video preview on Windows, Linux, or macOS.

MSP 231S converts the SDI signal from a camera to USB 2.0, so the computer sees it as an ordinary webcam. It needs no drivers and works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.

Connection: camera, computer, monitor

The camera connects to SDI IN, the SDI OUT loop passes the picture on to a monitor, and the signal reaches the computer over USB 2.0 as a UVC/UAC device – up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 fps. Audio from a microphone, player or phone goes into the 3.5 mm MIC input and arrives in the computer in sync with the picture.

A small converter without a power supply

The metal body measures 87 × 51 × 21 mm including the BNC connectors and weighs 0.1 kg. It is powered from the USB port, draws less than 3 W and works from −20 to 60 °C. The picture is picked up by OBS, PotPlayer, AMCAP or VLC; the frame rate is adjustable from 5 to 60 fps.
