Product description
Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Express Recorder 3G is a pocket-sized capture device for bringing professional 3G-SDI or HDMI video into a computer. It records SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 and 2K DCI up to 60 fps through a USB-C host connection with 40 Gb/s signalling, compatible with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 computers.
Two professional inputs
Switchable 10-bit 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs let you connect a broadcast camera, deck or standard HDMI source. USB4 provides the bandwidth needed for compressed and uncompressed workflows.

Built for mobile and studio ingest
The rugged metal body fits easily into a laptop bag and needs no separate power supply. Blackmagic Desktop Video drivers integrate the hardware with compatible applications for editing, capture, streaming and image processing.
Compatible workflows: DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and other supported applications.
