Product description
Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Express Monitor 3G is a pocket-sized playback interface for sending professional video from a computer to 3G-SDI or HDMI displays and equipment. It outputs SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 and 2K DCI up to 60 fps through a USB-C host connection with 40 Gb/s signalling, compatible with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 computers.
Two outputs for professional monitoring
Connect the switchable 10-bit 3G-SDI output to a broadcast monitor or router, while HDMI 2.0 feeds a television, projector or other display. This is an output-only interface and does not capture incoming video.

Compact output for editing and grading
The pocket-sized metal body is powered directly over USB-C. Blackmagic Desktop Video drivers integrate the interface with compatible applications such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer.
Practical uses: edit preview, color review, client monitoring and broadcast graphics output.
