RED Weapon 8K + HAWK65 Anamorphic

The first newly manufactured 65mm anamorphic lens in over fifty years was tested in Los Angeles toghether with RED Weapon 8K large format digital cinema camera. Cinematographer Markus Förderer shot the test of Vantage's new HAWK65 Anamorphics using the new mount, the XPL52, that makes it possible to use HAWK65, HAWK 35mm, and VantageOne T1 lenses on the same camera without changing mounts. „The 1.3x anamorphic squeeze elevates large format sensors to their highest level.
