RED Komodo-X is here!

After the limited white edition camera which sold out almost immediately RED Digital Cinema today introduced the standard production model incl. kits Starter Pack (plus 2x 1TB cards, reader, 2x RedVolt Nano-V batteries, dual charger, Komodo Wing Grip, Komodo Outrigger Handle and cabling) and Production Pack (including 2x 1TB cards and reader, DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" LCD display, RED Compact Top Handle and RED Pro V-Lock I/O or RED Pro Gold Mount I/O expansion module depending on version). The new "X" variant offers higher frame rates (up to 6Kp80 and 4Kp120) and a wider dynamic range thanks to the upgraded 6K S35 sensor with global shutter. Also new is support for DSMC3 Touch LCD monitors, integrated USB-C port, improved audio interface, etc. Pre-orders are now being accepted (they will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis)!
