Panasonic LUMIX S 50mm f/1,8

The new LUMIX S Series compact lens with L-Mount, 50mm fixed focal length and f/1.8 aperturewill go on sale in July. The ED and UHR elements used reduce chromatic defects and thus improve colour rendering; very good drawing throughout the image area ensures sufficient optical performance for 4K/6K video recording. The lens also features a linear, silent autofocus motor to suppress "breathing", a nine-blade aperture with very smooth operation, and a dust-, moisture- and freeze-resistant construction. Panasonic is also preparing 24mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/1.8 models with the same dimensions (the 85mm f/1.8 is already on sale).
