Based on the highly successful KM 184 design, the KM 185 utilizes a pressure-gradient transducer with an exceptionally balanced frequency response both on and off axis. Its supercardioid pattern minimizes side and rear sound pickup by approximately 10 dB, with the point of lowest sensitivity positioned at 120°, making it highly effective in challenging acoustic environments.
