Surely you've been in a situation where you needed to make a decision to buy this or that product, but you didn't have enough information. That's why we have prepared for you comparison recordings of microphones and other products we offer. In addition, in the description of the tested audio products you will now be able to listen to, or download, an unedited recording that was recorded using the device.
HOW WE FILMED
We shot in two phases - day and night. In the first part we will bring you some examples of footage shot during the day. Later, in the second part of this article, we will also add samples of night shots.
For the daytime shooting we chose a sunny day in the environment of the Little Danube. The differences between the light and dark parts of the captured objects will better reveal the strengths, but in some cases also the weaknesses, of the used camera models. For all cameras we have chosen the highest possible recording quality (highestbitrate and image resolution). For most of the cameras it was FullHD 1920×1080/50i. Some models also offered a 50p recording option, so in these cases we chose the progressive 50-frame recording mode. With the Panasonic model - LUMIX DMC-GH4, we even shot 4K or UHD 4K, i.e. 3840x2160px
It's also important to mention that almost all devices had built-in lenses. The exceptions were the Sony NEX-EA50EH with theSONY SEL18200 interchangeable lens, the Sony PMW-400 with the 16x interchangeable zoom HD lens set, and the aforementioned Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH4 with thePanasonic LUMIX G X Vario 12-35mm lens
For the actual shoot, we took different widths of shots for each model, from overall to close-ups. We also concentrated on shots where you can compare the depth of field of each model. Noticeable are the differences in image sharpness, which are mainly due to the optics used.
