It includes an aluminum connector for side-mounting the MBOOMAVR boom; the top plate allows for use with compatible 3/8″ equipment, and Easy Link expands the setup’s capabilities. With the MBOOMAVR boom, follow the manual’s 1.5 kg load limit and the height limits for the illustrated configuration.

Ready for MBOOMAVR
The included aluminum connector attaches the MBOOMAVR boom to the side of the base. This reduces the lever arm above the tripod’s center of gravity when capturing 360° shots several meters above the ground.

Specialized top and bottom mounts for a 26 mm diameter tube are included with the product. The extension boom itself and the 360° camera are not included.
Fast setup and compact transport
The Manfrotto MTALUVR is a compact, four-section tripod designed for 360° photographers and videographers. With a safe load capacity of 7 kg for the tripod alone, a working height of up to 151 cm, and a sturdy aluminum construction, it provides a stable foundation for both a standalone camera and an expanded VR setup.
Each M-Lock is operated by a 90° twist, allowing for quick deployment of the four sections. Four leg angle positions—25°, 46°, 66°, and 88°—allow you to widen the base and lower the center of gravity depending on the space and surface.
With the center column retracted, it reaches 127 cm; when folded, it measures 45 cm and weighs exactly 2.16 kg. The four-section legs use tubes ranging from 26 to 15.5 mm in diameter.
Safe setup with MBOOMAVR
Figures 10 and 11 show MTALUVR with MBOOMAVR at a maximum load of 1.5 kg. With the leg sections retracted (Figure 10), the three illustrated configurations have height limits of 95 / 210 / 220 cm; with the leg sections fully extended (Figure 11), the limits are 320 / 290 / 250 cm. Choose the illustrated configuration and observe its corresponding height.
Source erratum: the original manufacturer diagram incorrectly pairs 95 cm with 87″. Use the centimetre values when setting the equipment.
Place the tripod on firm, non-sinking ground with an inclination below 5°. Attach the boom using the included adapter. Do not adjust the tripod’s leg angles or extend its legs while the accessory is mounted. Keep the load balanced and lower the extension before moving. Before carrying the product, remove the load and all mounted accessories, including the boom.
