Product description
The Manfrotto MDOLLYVR is an adjustable aluminium dolly for repositioning compatible light to medium-weight tripods in VR and 360° photography. Its footprint adjusts from 78 to 114 cm, while 76 mm wheels and individual safety locks provide mobile and stationary support modes. The dolly weighs 3.15 kg and supports up to 10 kg on its own; the manufacturer's tripod-and-pole VR assembly is separately limited to 2 kg and 400 cm overall height.
A mobile base for VR setups
Manfrotto MDOLLYVR lets you reposition a compatible tripod for VR and 360° capture. Its adjustable footprint and 76 mm wheels combine mobility with a stationary support mode.

Move, then park securely
The 76 mm wheels make it easier to reposition the setup. Each wheel has a safety lock that raises it clear of the ground so the dolly rests on its dedicated feet for stationary capture. Use the base on firm, level ground suitable for the setup.
Tripod, pole and imaging equipment shown in the workflow are not included.
Fold for storage
The folded view shows how the dolly's arms can be brought together between uses. Folding makes the base easier to store and handle without leaving it spread across the working area.
Set up and park correctly
- Figures 1–2: position the tripod feet in their holders and secure them with the retaining chains.
- Figure 3: release the arm adjustment, select the footprint and retighten it.
- Figure 4: use the parking feet to support the stationary setup; the central connection is marked 3/8″.
- The crossed-out arrangement warns against a pole mounted alone: use the pole with the tripod.
Respect the complete assembly limits
The dolly's own 10 kg load rating is not the load limit of a tall VR assembly. For the tripod-and-boom configuration shown in the MDOLLYVR instructions, the manufacturer specifies a maximum 2 kg load and 400 cm overall height. Secure the tripod before adding the load, balance the setup and lower the load before moving it. Follow the manual and use firm, level ground with an incline below 5°. Do not use ground where the feet can sink. Use the pole only together with a tripod.
