Stable support in the studio and outdoors
The robust aluminium construction combines rigidity with a complete kit weight of 3.1 kg. Four extendable leg sections allow a maximum height of 173 cm, or 148 cm with the centre column down. The current manufacturer safety payload is 12 kg under UNI/PdR 105:2021; the older 6 kg rating must not be confused with that standard.
Quick Power Lock lever locks secure each section and support convenient setup. Ergonomic leg-angle selectors let each leg be positioned independently at 25°, 46°, 66° or 88° to work on uneven ground or from a low viewpoint. Rubber feet provide contact with the supporting surface. The collapsed kit is practical for location photography as well as product, landscape and architectural work.
From upright framing to overhead photography
The 90° centre-column mechanism is housed within the top casting for compactness. Extend the column vertically for height or swing it horizontally to explore macro, low-angle and overhead compositions without removing the camera. This changes the viewpoint while keeping the camera secured to the head.
Easy Link accepts a suitable accessory arm or bracket for a light, flash or reflector, allowing the tripod to support a compact shooting setup. The bubble level at the top of the column rotates through 360°, so you can place it where the head or camera does not obscure it.
Fine control before locking the frame
The included XPRO 3-way head controls panoramic rotation, forward tilt and portrait orientation separately. Friction adjustment on the portrait and tilt axes helps balance the equipment for fine framing while the locking controls are open; secure each control once the composition is ready.
Retractable levers reduce the head's size for carrying. The RC2/Q2 quick-release system uses the included 200PL-14 plate and a 1/4″ camera screw. For a second camera, choose a compatible RC2/Q2 plate; other quick-release formats are not interchangeable. The head attaches to the tripod through a 3/8″ base thread. Three levels on the head and one on the tripod assist alignment; panoramic rotation covers 360°.
Low viewpoints and the sold package
The manufacturer lists 8 cm as a minimum tripod-configuration height. It is not a guarantee that a camera on the supplied head sits 8 cm above the ground: camera height depends on the head, plate, leg angles and centre-column position.
The sold kit contains the MT190XPRO4 tripod, MHXPRO-3W XPRO head and 200PL-14 plate. A transport bag, light, arm and camera are not included. Choose them separately where required.
