MagicSoft Recorder 6.0

MagicSofthas releaseda new version of theirRecorder application! This isthe first release of Recorder version 6, which brings significant improvements in performance, reliability, and usability.

What's new in MagicSoft Recorder 6.0: 

• Pool of encoders (for faster file segmentation)

• Improved buffering algorithm (for greater resistance to interruptions and operating system crashes)

• Optimized workflow (using AVX / AVX2 acceleration)

• Stricter default settings for some broadcast containers (e.g., .mxf)

• New profiles for 4K and 1080p resolutions:

  • DNxHR – 10-bit 4:2:2

  • H264 – 8-bit 4:2:2 with nVidia acceleration

  • HEVC – 10-bit 4:2:2 with nVidia acceleration

  • HEVC – 10-bit 4:2:0 with Intel QSV acceleration

• Option to license using a file instead of a USB dongle (instant license delivery)
