Libec HS-350MQ

The Libec HS-350MQ is a tripod assembly with a centre spacer. It consists of QL40B tripod legs, H35 head, BR-2B spreader bar and Long Plate S sliding quick release plate. The Perfect Balance head carries cameras up to 8 kg (counterbalance 3–7.5 kg) and the tripod adjusts with one Quick-Lock per leg. Height 91–197.5 cm, weight 5.9 kg.

The Libec HS-350MQ is a complete tripod system for video cameras up to 8 kg: the H35 head with continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance, the QL40B aluminium tripod with Quick-Lock leg locks, a mid-level spreader with large rubber feet, a long sliding plate and a carrying case. The whole system weighs 5.9 kg and adjusts from 91 to 197.5 cm.

Balanced at any angle

Continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance keeps the camera balanced at any tilt angle across a 3 to 7.5 kg range. An illuminated meter on the back of the head shows the setting.

Dual head base

The H35 head mounts on a 75 mm bowl tripod as well as on a flat base, so it also fits sliders and dollies. The camera plate attaches with a single touch.

Everything in one case

The system comes with the RC-50 carrying case, so head, tripod and spreader travel together and stay protected.

Quick to set up, rock solid

The QL40B adjusts with a single lock per leg at the top, so there is no bending down while setting up. Its aluminium legs carry up to 40 kg, far more than typical quick-lock tripods.

3-step drag

A multilayered metal drag system offers a free position plus three steps for smooth pans.

Tilt +90° to −70°

The head works from −40 to +60 °C and has an illuminated bubble level.

Sliding plate

The ±30 mm sliding plate fits Manfrotto and Sachtler heads, and the Long Plate S is included as well.

Head and tripod have 1/4" and 3/8" holes for a monitor, light or arm.

QL40B tripod.

The locking mechanism of the QL40B tripod allows users to conveniently adjust the height using the leg locks located at the top of the tripod. The flip-type Quick Lock shape is ergonomically designed, making it easy to grasp with fingers from both the bottom and sides. This allows for quick and easy installation.

Using the included special screwdriver, users can easily adjust the strength of the tripod lock. A handle is included for easy carrying. The handle can be easily removed when not in use.

Despite being a long aluminum tripod, the QL40B weighs only 2.6 kg. When using the carry handle, it feels much lighter than the previous RT30B model. The QL40B has a 40 kg carrying capacity, providing a higher capacity than other quick release tripods. It can safely carry heavier camera systems without any problems. The maximum height of the QL40B is approximately 30 cm higher than the current RT30B tripod with a 75mm base. With the video head and bottom strut, this tripod can reach heights of up to 198 cm. Since the camera lens can easily exceed 200 cm in height, high angle shots can be achieved without the need for additional accessories.

When the Quick Lock is released, the legs extend smoothly without resistance, allowing the tripod to be mounted quickly and smoothly. A 1/4" and 3/8" threaded accessory port is located on three sides of the tripod base, providing a convenient way to securely mount accessories such as monitors and lights. With safety in mind, the tripod legs are carefully designed to prevent users from getting their fingers pinched when intentionally or unintentionally folding the tripod.

A head with a counterweight range of 3.0 - 7.5 kg, a weight capacity of 8 kg, a standard sliding plate compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler heads (and Libec TH-M, TH-X, TH-Z and NX Series) and a Long Plate S. It weighs 2.8 kg.
