Libec HS-250MQ

The Libec HS-250MQ is a tripod assembly with a centre spacer. It consists of QL40B tripod legs, H25 head and BR-2B strut. Also included is the RC-40 bag and FP-1B lightweight rubber feet.

QL40B tripod

The locking mechanism of the QL40B tripod allows users to conveniently adjust the height using the leg locks located at the top of the tripod. The flip-type Quick Lock shape is ergonomically designed, making it easy to grasp with fingers from both the bottom and sides. This allows for quick and easy installation.

Using the included special screwdriver, users can easily adjust the strength of the tripod lock. A handle is included for easy carrying. The handle can be easily removed when not in use.

Despite being a long aluminum tripod, the QL40B weighs only 2.6 kg. When using the carry handle, it feels much lighter than the previous RT30B model. The QL40B has a 40 kg carrying capacity, providing a higher capacity than other quick release tripods. It can safely carry heavier camera systems without any problems. The maximum height of the QL40B is approximately 30 cm higher than the current RT30B tripod with a 75mm base. With the video head and bottom strut, this tripod can reach a height of up to 198 cm. Since the camera lens can easily exceed 200 cm in height, high angle shots can be achieved without the need for additional accessories.

When the Quick Lock is released, the legs extend smoothly without resistance, allowing the tripod to be mounted quickly and smoothly. A 1/4" and 3/8" threaded accessory port is located on three sides of the tripod base, providing a convenient way to securely mount accessories such as monitors and lights. With safety in mind, the tripod legs are carefully designed to prevent users from getting their fingers pinched when intentionally or unintentionally folding the tripod.

H25 head

Head with counterweight range of 1.7 - 4.5 kg, 5 kg weight capacity, standard sliding plate compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler heads (and Libec TH-M, TH-X, TH-Z and NX Series). It weighs 2.8 kg.

BR-2B spreader bar

Telescopic and lockable centre strut for Libec tripods, weighing 0.19 kg with a 63 mm extension range. 151.5 mm long when folded.
