The batteries have a capacity of 2520 mAh, that is 18.14 Wh at 7.2 V. In practice that is roughly 350 shots each, about 700 for the whole set. In video one battery lasts around 2 h.

The battery charges straight over USB-C, so on the road a cable and any source will do — a power bank, a laptop or a car charger.

The chip watches over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and overheating, and switches to trickle charging once full.

The indicator on the battery glows red while charging and green when full. Over USB-C it is full in 2.5 hours; it also charges in the original Panasonic charger or in the K&F charger for DMW-BLK22.
