Fujifilm has just released a new update for its GFX ETERNA 55 film camera! You can download firmware v1.06 HERE.
What’s new in version 1.06?
Improved image latency on an external monitor connected via SDI or HDMI.
This improvement is effective with the following settings:
・PROJECT ➔ RESOLUTION ➔ 4K 4:3
・PROJECT ➔ MEDIA REC SETTING ➔ MEDIA REC SETTING ➔ ProResHQ, ProRes 422, or ProRes LT
・PROJECT ➔ F-Log2/HLG/RAW ➔ SDI/HDMI OUTPUT RAW SETTING ➔ OFF
Firmware bugs causing the following issues have been fixed:
- When switching between the "MULTI" and "TRACKING" AF modes, the "AREA" mode may occasionally activate even when "MULTI" is selected.
- When opening the playback screen without a memory card inserted and pressing certain buttons, an unintended screen may appear.
- When using a FUJINON Duvo series lens on the GFX ETERNA 55 and operating the expander during recording, the camera may freeze.
- AF tracking does not work if the FOCUS LEVER SETTING is set to “PUSH TO UNLOCK”.
- The clip does not play during playback.
- When using the default LUT in the F-Log2C setting, banding may occur under certain lighting conditions with high saturation.
