Desview R72 7" 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor

The lightweight R72 7" On-Camera 4K HDMI Touchscreen Monitor from Desview provides professional monitoring in a sharp 7" IPS LCD with 1920 x 1200 resolution, an updated 2600 cd/m² brightness, 1100:1 contrast ratio, and touchscreen control. 2600 nits and 1920 × 1200 resolution

The 2600 cd/m² high brightness provides a clear display, even when filming in bright exteriors. The 1920 × 1200 IPS panel with a 1100:1 contrast ratio renders a clean, detailed and colourful picture.

Slim, lightweight design with a 7" 16:10 touchscreen IPS LCD panel. The monitor supports HDR monitoring and offers a set of professional image-checking tools.

Touchscreen

The R72 monitor adopts a 7" touchscreen panel with a 1920 × 1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. One finger controls the whole monitor, and pinch to zoom helps you check every corner and detail of the image. A short press on the power button locks the screen to prevent accidental changes. Swipe on the left half of the screen to adjust the backlight brightness, and on the right half to adjust the volume.

4K HDMI input and output

HDMI supports video input up to DCI 4K24/UHD 4K30 and passes the signal on through the loop output. Next to the HDMI ports sits the DC power input; the bottom edge has a USB port, a 1/4" thread and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the top edge the power button with touch lock, an indicator light and the F1, F2 and Exit shortcut buttons. The monitor measures 178 × 117 × 22.2 mm.

Custom 3D LUTs from a USB drive

Import custom 3D LUTs through the USB port to make colour grading and colour calibration easier right on set. A USB drive is included.

A lock screen button prevents accidental changes to your settings from the touchscreen. The IPS LED panel has a viewing angle of 178° horizontally and vertically for good colour and contrast even with off-axis viewing, and it displays 90% of the DCI-P3 standard. The monitor features HDMI input and output, and it supports up to DCI and UHD 4K video input and pass-through output.

The R72 is powered using the integrated battery plate for NP-F (L-series) batteries or via a separately available DC adapter. A USB port allows you to import custom 3D LUTs. Two 1/4"-20 threads (side and bottom) allow you to mount the monitor in a variety of configurations, or you can use the included shoe mount adapter to mount the monitor on your camera. The 3.5 mm headphone jack allows you to monitor the audio embedded in the HDMI signal.
