Datavideo TP-900 PTZ Camera Teleprompter

The Datavideo TP-900 is a stand-alone teleprompter designed for most PTZ cameras. Its adjustable mounting lift supports inverted camera mounting and horizontal and vertical positioning, helping the camera retain a wider range of movement while framing a shot. The integrated 15-inch 4:3 LCD with dvPrompter Plus displays scripts without a computer; prepare and control content through a web browser on the local network. HDMI input and output and HDMI or Ethernet/IP synchronisation support studio routing and multi-unit workflows. Camera is not included.

READ YOUR SCRIPT WHILE LOOKING AT THE CAMERA

The TP-900 combines a PTZ camera, beam-splitter glass and its own 15-inch LCD with the dvPrompter Plus app. Prepare and control scripts through a web browser on the local network, with no additional computer needed for normal prompting. Camera is not included.

MORE ROOM FOR PTZ CAMERA MOVEMENT

The adjustable camera lift supports inverted mounting and lets you position a PTZ camera horizontally and vertically. This helps the camera use a wider range of movement while framing a shot without the prompter structure restricting its motion. The mount is designed for most PTZ cameras; fit depends on the dimensions and mounting interface of the specific camera.

CONTROL AND CONNECTIONS FOR THE STUDIO

HDMI input and output let you display an external source, use the screen as an HDMI monitor and connect multiple units. Several TP-900 units can also synchronise over Ethernet/IP. Manage scripts, loading and playback through the local-network web interface. Power comes from the supplied 12V adapter; an optional PoE adapter can deliver power over Ethernet.

INTERVIEWS, PRESENTATIONS AND LIVE PRODUCTION

In a peer-to-peer setup with two units, both the host and guest can follow their own script while looking directly into the camera. The built-in editor adjusts font size, style and colour, supports images and creates playlists from multiple documents. dvPrompter Plus can also import PowerPoint and Keynote presentations.

CONTROL FROM A WEB BROWSER OR HARDWARE REMOTE

Alongside network control, the TP-900 works with the optional WR-500 handheld remote, FS-30 foot pedal or generic presentation remotes with a USB receiver. It also supports the WR-600 when connected to a Windows computer running dvPrompter Professional; this advanced control workflow requires that computer software.
