Product description
Datavideo FS-30 is a three-pedal USB foot switch for TP-700, TP-800 and TP-900 teleprompters running dvPrompter Plus version 1581 or later. Three independent pedals control scrolling speed, break markers and slides; non-contact photoelectric sensors provide near-silent operation. Connect it to the white USB port on the teleprompter’s 15-inch LCD monitor and it works without additional setup. It is not supported with mobile phones, tablets or third-party apps.
Control a teleprompter hands-free
Datavideo FS-30 is a three-pedal USB foot switch for direct control of a compatible teleprompter. It can slow down or speed up scrolling, move between break markers and control slides. Non-contact photoelectric sensors provide near-silent operation, letting a presenter adjust text and slides without touching the screen or a handheld remote.
What each pedal does
| Pedal | While scrolling text | While paused | Slides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Left | Slow down scrolling | Previous break marker | Previous slide |
| Middle | Pause | Play | No function |
| Right | Speed up scrolling | Next break marker | Next slide |
Control a teleprompter hands-free
The FS-30 connects by USB to the white USB port on a Datavideo teleprompter’s 15-inch LCD monitor. It works as soon as it is connected, with no control options to configure in dvPrompter Plus. It is designed for solo presenters, speakers and operators who need hands-free control while reading a script or presenting slides.
Compatible teleprompters: TP-700, TP-800 and TP-900 running dvPrompter Plus version 1581 or later. The manual also supports a standard USB 2.0 A-to-A extension cable up to 5 m.
