Datavideo TP-700 Universal 15-inch Studio Teleprompter Kit

The TP-700 is a universal large screen prompter kit with eng and freestanding configurations. Datavideo’s teleprompters are designed to be simple and straight forward to operate by the talent or remote operator. They use a high-quality mirror glass with a low iron content, meaning that the mirror has no tint. The TP-700 teleprompter can be used with ENG style cameras, where the camera is mounted directly to the teleprompter rig, or with any camera in its freestanding configuration. It supports up to 19” talent monitors with VESA 75mm and 100mm mounts, ideal for use with TLM-170 series monitors. The TP-700 features a bright 15” 4:3 LCD screen with the powerful dvPrompter Plus application built in, there is no need to run software on a laptop. The TP-700 can also be controlled using the optional WR-500 handheld remote, FS-30 Foot Pedal or any generic presentation remote with a USB receiver.

The Datavideo TP-700 combines a 15-inch 4:3 prompting display with the integrated dvPrompter Plus application. It supports both standard camera-mounted and freestanding setups, so you can build a teleprompting station around the camera and production workflow you already use.

The low-iron 70/30 beam-splitter glass keeps the script readable to the presenter while allowing the camera to record a clear image. A multi-height riser helps accommodate cameras from DSLR to ENG in the standard setup.

Control scripts across the local network

Load, reload and control scripts through a modern web browser on a device connected to the local network. The built-in screen runs dvPrompter Plus directly, so a separate laptop is not needed to display the script.

The HDMI input can also show an external video source on the TP-700 screen, while HDMI output can feed another display. Multiple units can be connected over HDMI or synchronised over IP via Ethernet.

With two TP-700 units in a peer-to-peer interview setup, both participants can look into their camera while seeing the other person’s image. This helps create a direct, conversational look for interviews and video calls.

The screen supports hardware mirroring; connect the cameras and displays over HDMI to build the paired setup.

Prepare scripts and presentations in dvPrompter Plus

The rich-text editor lets you set font size, style, colour and alignment per script, use several fonts in one script, insert images and create playlists from multiple documents. You can import PowerPoint and Keynote slides and switch between slides and text scripts. Control playback through the web interface or the optional WR-500 controller.
