CineTreak CAP20S

The CineTreak CAP20S is a compact capture card that converts SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals from a BNC input into a standard UVC/UAC video and audio source over USB. It delivers uncompressed video up to 1080p60 over USB 3.0, draws power from the computer’s port and needs no extra drivers, so a video switcher, PTZ camera or camera is ready on a laptop in moments.

SDI to USB with no driver installation

Plug your SDI source into the BNC input, connect the card to a USB 3.0 port and the computer sees it as an ordinary video and audio source. Ideal for streaming, recording, teaching and video calls.

Professional signal in a small card

A single BNC input accepts SD, HD and 3G-SDI, including ST 2048 formats. The card adapts to the incoming signal on its own, so setup comes down to plugging in the cables.

12-bit color depth

Smoother color gradations and a more accurate picture for work where color matters, such as color grading.

3D LUT 17×17×17

3D LUT processing handles color conversions and ready-made looks. The card stores 16 LUT files, which you select in the Ultra Control Utility software.

Powered over USB

The card has no power supply of its own and draws power from the USB Type-A port. A status LED reports the state of the device.

Uncompressed video over USB 3.0

Over USB 3.0 the card sends uncompressed YUV video up to 1920×1080 at 60 fps. On USB 2.0 it offers MJPEG up to 1080p50.

SDI straight into the computer

Connect a video switcher, PTZ camera, camera, media player or game console to the BNC input. Plug the USB 3.0 output (USB 3.1 Gen 1) into a laptop or PC. With UVC and UAC support, applications recognize the card as an ordinary video and audio source.

Two connectors, no complications

One side of the card carries the SDI IN input with a BNC connector, the opposite side the USB 3.0 Type-A port with a status LED. The SDI cable runs from the source to the card, the USB cable (included) to the computer.

12-bit processing and built-in 3D LUT

The CAP20S accepts SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI, including Level A, Level B-DL and Level B-DS, as well as ST 2048 formats. You configure the card in the Ultra Control Utility software, where you also select the 17×17×17 3D LUT files stored in the card’s memory.
