ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 20 moves control of compatible ATEM switchers from the screen to real broadcast-quality buttons, knobs, a joystick and a precise T‑bar. Its compact design keeps even complex live productions fast and tactile.

20 buttons, clear labels, instant orientation

The physical 1 M/E row provides 20 direct crosspoints and another 40 shifted crosspoints. Integrated LCD labels show source names above the buttons and illumination colours can be customised. Two independent system control LCDs put parameters within reach without computer menus.

Dedicated controls address up to 4 upstream keyers, 4 downstream keyers and up to four M/E rows on a larger switcher.

Program and preview with confidence

Separate Program and Preview buses support the established live workflow. Check a source on preview, then put it on air with CUT or AUTO; direct switching on the program bus is available when speed matters.

The independent Select Bus quickly routes sources to internal processing and auxiliary outputs on a compatible switcher.

Transitions, DVE and picture in picture

Dedicated hardware buttons provide immediate access to Mix, Dip, Wipe and DVE transitions. The selected transition parameters appear on a system LCD for fast adjustment of SMPTE wipes, edge softness and more.

The ergonomic T‑bar lets you ride a transition manually. The 3‑axis joystick controls X/Y position and Z scale for DVE, animated moves and precise picture-in-picture placement.

Detailed control without a wall of text

System LCDs and direct access

Each display has its own keypad, soft buttons and knobs. Control keyers, transitions, DVE, colour generators, video standard, multiview and input button remapping directly from the panel.

Recall your workspace

Save and recall 10 individual panel configurations. The control surface can be prepared quickly for different shows, studios or operators.

Macros without a computer

Record custom sequences and trigger them from dedicated hardware controls. The panel provides 20 macro button positions and the LCD strip shows their assignments.

Dependable connections

A built-in four-port gigabit Ethernet switch can loop through additional panels or computers. Two internal 100–240 V AC inputs provide redundancy, while USB‑C handles firmware updates.
