Video Devices PIX-LR Audio Interface Now Shipping

The PIX-LR audio interface provides Sound Devices-designed high performance mic preamps, level control and metering to the PIX-E family of recording monitors! It is an optional accessory that mounts to the bottom of any PIX-E monitor. Backorders will be filled at the earliest, new orders are expected to ship in approximately three or four weeks. In order to use the PIX-LR. users must update to PIX-E firmware v2.00, available for download now for the PIX-E5H, PIX-E5 and PIX-E7 models. In addition to supporting the new PIX-LR audio interface, version 2.00 supports Record Start/Stop triggers on SDI Out (PIX-E5 and PIX-E7 only), and also contains multiple stability and performance improvements.
