Blackmagic Design Desktop Video 10.8.5

Blackmagic's new software update improves audio handling from SDI sources for DeckLink Micro Recorder. It also adds improvements to all DeckLink, UltraStudio and Intensity products including retaining settings made in the Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup utility, improved video output for 3D projects in DaVinci Resolve, and restores audio output while shuttling in Adobe Premiere.

Fixes on DeckLink Micro Recorder and DeckLink Mini Recorder:

• Fix audio corruption when capturing from an SDI source with no embedded audio.

Other fixes and improvements:

• Fix settings not retained in Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup utility.
• Fix black video output with 3D projects in DaVinci Resolve.
• Restore audio output during shuttle in Adobe Premiere CC.
• Fix crash on Linux kernel version 4.8 and above using the hardened user copy feature.
• General performance and stability improvements for all models
