New software update for DaVinci Resolve 15 improves performance of video playback on the edit page, including multicam playback. H.265 and H.265 encoding has also been improved on the Mac, the latest version of Intel OpenCL drivers is now supported on Windows, project load and save performance is faster, and 5.1 and 7.1 IMF clip handling is improved. In addition, decode support for different Canon XF-AVC clip formats has been added to DaVinci Resolve Studio, font detection on Windows is improved, and support for Sony Venice 3.0 firmware has been added.
