Tilta Power Supply Module for Ring Grip

The Tilta TGA-RG-PM is a power supply module that clamps directly onto the Basic or Advanced Ring Grip for DJI Ronin and both carries and powers accessories: a monitor or video transmitter sits on the cold shoe or 1/4"-20 threads and draws power from the 5 V USB or 14.8 V P-Tap output. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black. Take care when connecting P-Tap cables — a cable connected backwards can damage the gimbal.

The Tilta Power Supply Module for Ring Grip is the part that brings a monitor and video transmitter onto the Tilta Ring Grip for DJI Ronin — mount and power in one block, with no cable from another part of the rig. It fits the Basic Ring Grip and the Advanced Ring Grip alike.

Clamped straight onto the Ring Grip

The module has a clamp on its back that fits directly onto the tube of the Basic or Advanced Ring Grip and is tightened with the included Allen key. It draws its power from the ring grip, so no cable runs to it — all that remains on the rig is what goes to the monitor or transmitter. The body is aluminium alloy with stainless steel parts, black like the ring grip.

USB 5 V and P-Tap 14.8 V

The front carries two power outputs: USB 5 V for smaller accessories and P-Tap 14.8 V for a monitor or video transmitter; P-Tap power cables for the specific device are sold separately. Mind the polarity when connecting them — a P-Tap cable connected backwards can damage the gimbal.

Cold shoe and 1/4"-20 threads for the monitor

The top and end faces of the module carry a cold shoe and 1/4"-20 threads with locating pin holes, to which a monitor mount, articulating arm or wireless video receiver is screwed. The accessory thus sits right above its power and the cables stay short.

The Tilta Ring Grip for DJI Ronin

The Tilta Ring Grip wraps the DJI Ronin gimbal in a ring held with both hands and is at the same time the backbone of the whole rig: it carries the gimbal's battery grip or a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate, the remote control, Nucleus hand wheels and, through this power supply module, a monitor or video transmitter too. The Advanced Ring Grip for RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 and RS 4 Pro includes the control handles, the Basic Ring Grip Plus is the lighter version — the module fits both the same way.
