The Tilta hard shell waterproof case for Nucleus-M is a hard transport case with a foam insert cut precisely for the parts of the Nucleus-M wireless lens control system: FIZ hand unit, hand grips, motors and cables. The ABS plastic shell protects the set from impact and water on the way to set and abroad; the black finish carries the Nucleus-M lettering on the lid.
The Nucleus-M hard shell waterproof case is the housing in which the wireless lens control set travels without risk. Two custom foam inserts hold every part in place, so the motors don't knock against the hand unit and the cables don't tangle — and once the lid is open, it is obvious at a glance whether anything is missing.
The interior consists of two foam inserts with cutouts matching the actual shapes of the parts: the FIZ hand unit, left and right hand grip, three motors, cables and small accessories each have their own bed. The parts don't shift in the foam even with rough handling in transit, and when packing up after a shoot it is immediately clear which piece stayed on the rig. The case is built for the first-generation Nucleus-M set; Nucleus-M II parts have different shapes and their own case WLC-T06-WSC.
The ABS plastic shell with a sealed lid and two latches keeps water and dust out and absorbs impacts before they reach the foam. The travel size with a solid handle fits in a car boot and among airport luggage; the lid carries the embossed Nucleus-M lettering, so the set stands out in a pile of black cases on set. Case material: ABS plastic and foam, color black.
Nucleus-M (WLC-T03 series) is wireless lens control: motors on 15/19 mm rods turn focus, iris and zoom, the FIZ hand unit or hand grips with a wheel drive them remotely, and power runs over 7-pin cables — from a P-Tap plate or daisy-chained motor to motor. The WLC-T03 parts combine: motor gears, cables, grip adapters, bridge and case all belong to the same system, including this one.
