The Tilta Multi-Functional Mini Tool Kit is a folding tool the size of a car key that covers almost every screw on a film rig. Its two arms hold six tools — 2.5, 3 and 4 mm plus 3/16" hex keys, a PH2 cross and a flat screwdriver — with a T10 Torx alongside for retightening the tool’s own joints. The aluminium alloy body with 420 stainless steel tools weighs 80 g.
The Tilta Multi-Functional Mini Tool Kit replaces the handful of hex keys that always scatter around a bag. The tools fold into a 63 mm aluminium body with an eyelet for a strap and threads for hanging it straight on the cage.
The 2.5, 3 and 4 mm and 3/16" hex keys cover the screws on cages, handles and rosettes; the PH2 cross and flat screwdriver take care of the rest. A seventh tool, a T10 Torx, retightens the tool’s own joints so the blades never hang loose.
Closed, the tool measures 62.8 × 20.1 × 30 mm. It fits a vest pocket or the bag compartment where five loose hex keys used to roll around.
Both threads have locating points, so the tool screws straight onto a cage or a rosette and stays within reach. The body also carries an eyelet for a strap.
The frame is aluminium alloy, the tools 420 stainless steel — they do not corrode and do not round off. The whole thing weighs 80 g.
