Key features
Modular design for an expanding ecosystem
The camera cage includes five parts: front top plate, left side arm, right side arm, bottom plate and rear top plate. Each part is detachable and can be used independently.
High-performance continuous power
The I/O module provides a robust power supply for the Komodo-X. Connect it with the V-mount battery adapter plate on the back of the cage for flexible power solutions.
Easy mounting and disassembly
The cage comes with one M4 Allen key and one flat head screwdriver. Portable and detachable, it accommodates on-the-go assembly.
Three levels for quick adjustments
The quick-release plate at the bottom can be adjusted forwards, centred or backwards — three positions to accommodate various camera setups.
Clamp-based lens adapter support for secure mounting
The lens adapter support provides robust security for lenses of various sizes, greatly reducing safety concerns with long lenses.
I/O module
Align the I/O power module with the battery plate’s contact pins and slide it into the mounting slot. It delivers a 14.8 V output via the battery plate or an external power supply.
Foldable top handle
Custom designed for the Komodo-X. Multiple built-in mounting points and an ergonomic grip. Swivel the handle for easy access to the camera screen.
V-mount power supply
The V-mount battery adapter plate is compatible with larger-capacity full-sized batteries and accommodates various sizes to reduce downtime on set.
Classic and consistent style
Features an ARRI standard rosette, 1/4"-20 threads and a 3/8"-16 thread. The NATO rail carries on the classic Tilta design.
Various power outputs
2× 2-pin 14.8 V, 1× D-TAP, 1× USB-C and a 14.8 V contact pin output for I/O modules.
Compatible with select RED accessories
The cage is compatible with the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" monitor.
Available in black or special edition white
A custom colour design for the RED KOMODO X. Black is available now; the white special edition is on the way.
