Tilta Left Side Wooden Handle 2.0

The Tilta TT-0511-L is a left-side wooden handle 2.0 with an ARRI rosette: a body hand-carved from solid black walnut on a CNC-milled aluminium-alloy mount. The ARRI rosette holds it on a Tilta rig, on the Gravity G2 and G2X gimbals and in a shoulder-mounted setup; the angle is set and tightened with the red M6 screw. Material: black walnut, aluminium alloy, stainless steel; finish wood.

The Tilta TT-0511-L is the left handle for the hand that holds the camera all day. The ergonomic shape sits in the palm, wood does not slip and does not get cold. The ARRI rosette connects it to a Tilta rig, to the Gravity G2 and G2X gimbals or to a shoulder-mounted setup — wherever there is a rosette counterpart, the handle holds.

Black walnut on an aluminium mount

The handle is hand-carved from solid black walnut, the mount is CNC-milled from aluminium alloy and the fasteners are stainless steel. The shape is ergonomic: the palm wraps around the whole body of the handle, the fingers have support and the hand does not tire over a long day. Unlike aluminium, wood is warm, does not slip even when held for a long time and with use takes on a patina that is different on every Tilta wooden handle.

ARRI rosette and red M6 screw

On the inner side sits an ARRI rosette, the standard interface of camera rigs. The handle is placed against the rosette counterpart, turned to the angle that suits the hand and tightened with the red M6 screw — the teeth of the rosette then hold the angle even under load. That is how the handle sits on a Tilta rig, on the Gravity G2 and G2X gimbals and in a shoulder-mounted setup; the angle is set without tools and can be changed at any time.
