Tilta Tiltaing Advanced Left Side Wooden Handle Type XI - Black

The Tilta TA-AWH11-L-B is a left-side wooden handle from the Tiltaing Advanced range: a body carved from walnut on a CNC-milled aluminium mount that a button on the side releases and turns to any angle. This version mounts via a 1/4"-20 thread with two locating pins; the mount is swappable and the other types are sold separately. Material: walnut, aluminium alloy, stainless steel; colour black.

The Tilta TA-AWH11-L-B is the left handle for the hand that holds the camera all day — wood does not slip, does not get cold and the shape sits in the palm. The mount via a 1/4"-20 thread with two locating pins holds it on the cage or on the monitor, and the button on the side of the mount turns it to whatever position suits.

Walnut on an aluminium mount

The handle is carved from walnut, while the mount is CNC-milled from aluminium alloy with stainless steel fasteners. A button sits on the side of the mount: press it and the handle releases, turns to a new angle and locks again when let go. The angle changes without tools and without loosening screws — whether for handheld camera work or for a more comfortable grip on a monitor. The handle is made for holding; it has no electronics (REC button, power).

1/4"-20 with locating pins (Type XI) mount

The left handle ships with the mount via a 1/4"-20 thread with two locating pins. The mount is swappable: undo it and fit another type from the Tiltaing Advanced Side Handle Attachment range — Type VIII for a NATO rail, Type IX for the DJI Ronin 4D handle slot, Type X for an ARRI rosette and Type XI for a 1/4"-20 thread with locating pins. One handle thus follows the operator from cage to cage; only the mount needs buying, not the whole handle.

Tiltaing handles and plates

The Tiltaing range builds the rig around the cage from parts that fit together: side handles with a REC button powered by a Sony F570/F970 battery or USB-C PD, wooden and quick-release top handles, handle adapters to an ARRI rosette, 15 mm LWS baseplates with a Manfrotto or ARCA plate and battery plates with P-Tap and USB-C outputs. They share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with ARRI locating pins, NATO rails and ARRI rosettes. This part is one of them.
