Tilta 15mm Rod Clamp Mounting Adapter with Cold Shoe (1/4"-20) - Titanium White

The Tilta TA-T86-RACS-TW is a 15 mm rod clamp with a cold shoe and a 1/4"-20 thread — a replacement part of the Tilta Handheld Support System for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. The toggle screw tightens the clamp on the rod without tools, the cold shoe takes a light or microphone, the 1/4"-20 thread a monitor or bracket. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, Titanium White like the whole support system.

The Tilta TA-T86-RACS-TW is the part that hangs accessories on the 15 mm rods of the support system for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro — and since it is an ordinary 15 mm rod clamp, it serves on any rig with 15 mm rods.

The clamp slides onto a 15 mm rod and tightens with the toggle screw — no tools, one hand. It slides along the rod to where the accessory should sit and comes off just as quickly. On the Handheld Support System for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro it sits on one of the 15 mm rods and carries the accessory; if lost or damaged it is replaced with this piece in the same Titanium White.

Cold shoe and 1/4"-20 thread

The side of the clamp carries a cold shoe and a 1/4"-20 thread. The shoe takes the foot of a light, microphone or receiver, the thread a monitor mount, an articulating arm or any other accessory with a 1/4"-20 screw. So the part need not stay with the drone — it fits the 15 mm rods of a camera rig, shoulder support or tripod, wherever a cold shoe or a thread is missing.

The Tilta NATO system

A NATO rail is a dovetail profile the clamp drops onto from above and locks with a lever — no screwing, repeatable, with a safety catch against sliding off. Tilta puts it on cages, handles and arms and backs it with adapters: clamps with a joint for a monitor, adapters from NATO to cold shoe, ARCA or 1/4"-20 thread, rod holders and rails that add the NATO interface where it is missing. This part is one of them.
