The Tilta TA-15RH-1420S-B is a single 15 mm rod holder on a 1/4"-20 thread that mounts on the side or the top of a camera cage — with the rod parallel or perpendicular to the body. It carries a follow focus motor, a single-rod matte box or an EVF viewfinder where a baseplate with rods would otherwise be needed. Two locating pins stop it rotating, and the toggle screw clamps the rod without tools. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, 17.7 g, black.
The Tilta TA-15RH-1420S-B is a rod holder for the places a baseplate cannot reach: the side of the cage for a follow focus motor, the top for a viewfinder, or a light matte box. One 1/4"-20 screw, two locating pins, and the rod holds where the build needs it.
The holder mounts with a single 1/4"-20 screw on most Tilta full and half cages. The body is shaped so the rod can run parallel to the camera body or perpendicular to it, and it sits on the side of the cage as well as on top — depending on what the rod is to carry: a follow focus motor at the lens, an EVF viewfinder above the camera or a single-rod matte box in front of the lens.
Next to the thread are two locating pins that drop into the holes in the cage: the holder will not rotate under a motor pushing against the focus gear, nor under a viewfinder cantilevered on the rod. A toggle screw clamps the rod — sliding or swapping the rod needs no tools, and the Allen key in the box is only for tightening the screw into the cage.

It weighs 17.7 g and measures 45.2 × 35.5 × 25.5 mm, so it barely changes the balance on a gimbal. It replaces a baseplate with a pair of rods wherever the accessory gets by with one rod — and for a follow focus motor, a compact matte box or an EVF viewfinder that is the rule, not the exception.
A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
