Tilta 110mm Clamp On Adapter for Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box

The Tilta 110 mm Clamp-On Adapter is the interchangeable rear element of the Mirage Pro matte box. With it the matte box clamps straight onto the lens — no cage, no rods, no baseplate — so the rig stays light even on a gimbal. The adapter swaps out without tools, so changing lenses does not mean rebuilding the whole rig. Tilta makes nine diameters from 80 to 136 mm; this one fits lenses with a 110 mm front diameter.

The Clamp-On Adapter for the Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box in the 110 mm version is the interchangeable back that clamps the matte box directly onto the front of the lens. It is the lightest way to run a Mirage Pro: you need no cage, no rods and no baseplate. The adapter sits in the matte box body on a quick-release joint and is changed without tools.

Straight onto a 110 mm lens

The adapter clamps a lens with a 110 mm outer front diameter and carries the entire weight of the matte box on it. That removes both the baseplate and the rods, so the rig stays short and light — which counts on a gimbal, on a crane and in handheld work. The clamp is all metal, aluminium alloy and stainless steel, and it is secured by a large-headed screw you can tighten with your fingers.

Nine diameters in one series

Tilta makes clamp-on adapters for the Mirage Pro in 80, 95, 100, 104, 110, 114, 125, 134 and 136 mm, so one matte box covers a whole set of cine lenses. The adapters are sold separately and swap over in seconds. The 95 mm adapter also takes the Mirage step-down rings (52 to 95 mm), which get the Mirage Pro onto threaded photo lenses as well.
