Tilta 4x5.65 Filter Tray Body for Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box Part I

The Tilta 4×5.65″ Filter Tray Body, part I is the part that mounts the slide-in filter trays onto the Mirage Pro matte box. Parts I, II and III together carry three stacked trays. This part is a spare — it is already included in the MB-T17 and MB-T17-A kits, so you buy it only if the original is lost or damaged, or if you are building the matte box up part by part.

The 4×5.65″ Filter Tray Body for the Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box, part I is one of three components that mount directly on the matte box body and carry the slide-in filter trays. The manufacturer lists them as spare parts for what the kits already contain.

The tray body assembly is made up of three components — parts I, II and III. Together they create three levels in the matte box into which the 4×5.65″ filter trays drop from the top. The parts mount on the matte box body and stay there in normal use; you take them off only to lighten the matte box.

A spare, not an upgrade

This part is a spare. All three parts are already included in both the MB-T17 base kit and the MB-T17-A kit, so you buy it only to replace a lost or damaged one — or when you are assembling a Mirage Pro from individual parts starting from a Starter Kit.
