The LA-WR8 is powered by two AA batteries, delivering up to four hours of continuous operation, and includes an automatic sleep mode after one minute of inactivity to conserve power. It also supports 5V Micro USB input, allowing operation via USB power banks or compatible lighting fixtures with USB outputs. The companion lighting adapter consumes only 0.5W via USB power.
