The SmallRig 6540 is a power cable with an LP-E6P dummy battery for Canon cameras. It goes in where the battery would sit and connects over USB-C to a PD charger, a power bank or the USB-C output of a V-mount battery. The camera then runs without a break, so there are no battery swaps during long recordings, livestreams, time-lapses or other extended shoots.

The cable takes PD 9.0 V, PD 12.0 V and PD 15.0 V input and works with the common PD fast-charging protocols, so power can come from a PD charger, a car charger or a power bank, indoors or on location. Installation needs no tools and no complicated setup.
