The Portkeys LEYE III is a compact electronic viewfinder with a 2.4" 1440 × 900 display, diopter adjustment, and support for up to 4K30. The enclosed eyecup blocks out ambient light and provides an accurate view when shooting handheld, off-the-shoulder, or in bright sunlight.

The 2.4-inch panel, with a resolution of 1440 × 900, 450 nits of brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1100:1, displays the fine details essential for manual focusing. The soft eyecup reduces light leakage and can also be used while wearing glasses.

The viewfinder accepts HDMI signals up to 4K30. The image can be flipped horizontally or vertically depending on the mounting orientation.

A large, lockable ring allows for diopter adjustment from approximately −3D to +8D. Peaking with an adjustable range, zoom, and image cropping help you accurately assess the sharpness of the shot.

Features include 3D LUTs, waveforms before or after LUT application, zebra patterns, histograms, false color, audio meters, guides, grids, anamorphic de-squeeze, and other professional tools.
The integrated battery plate uses Canon LP-E6 rechargeable batteries. Depending on the setup, the viewfinder can also be powered from an external source via a secured four-pin connector.
