RGBlink RMS 1516S

The RGBlink RMS 1516S is a 15.6-inch 4K LCD monitor for desktop or rack mounting. It accepts HDMI, VGA, DVI and SDI inputs, with a loop-through output on SDI. It supports HDR and is HDCP 1.4 compliant. Besides full-screen preview of a selected signal, it also offers Multiview and a range of image tools.

4K preview on a 15.6″ screen

The 15.6″ panel with a native 3840 × 2160 resolution shows a 4K signal at full resolution. The screen can be split into up to four pictures. For checking focus and exposure it offers focus assist, pseudo-color, zoom and pixel-to-pixel display, plus centre and ratio markers (80–96 %, 2.35:1), marker colours, rotation in 90° steps, monochrome display and image freeze.

Inputs, tally and power

The rear panel carries HDMI, DVI-I, VGA and SDI inputs, with a loop-through output on SDI. Audio uses two RCA connectors (L/R) and tally is controlled via a DB9 port – three tally lights glow red, green or yellow. The monitor is powered with 12 V DC through a 4-pin XLR connector and draws 18 W at most.
