RGBlink IC2

The RGBlink IC2 is a versatile multi-layer HDMI TX/RX unit that supports resolutions up to 1920×1080@60Hz with embedded audio. With USB keyboard/mouse (KVM) support, multi-layer splicing, scaling, overlay, and roaming, it’s ideal for interactive displays, presentations, and professional AV installations. The unit can function as a transmitter or receiver with simple DIP switching.

IC2 is the same unit for both ends of the link: at the source it works as a transmitter, at the screen as a receiver. It sends HDMI video, audio and keyboard-and-mouse control (KVM) over an ordinary network, so a few units and a network switch make a multipoint system for a control room, classroom or conference.

Transmitters at the sources

Each source – a computer, laptop, player or camera – gets one IC2 as a transmitter (TX). It accepts HDMI up to 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz, plus USB for remote control of computers, and sends the picture over CAT6 to a network switch. The whole system is configured from a control computer on the same network.

Receivers at screens and workstations

On the other side of the switch, IC2 works as a receiver (RX). On an LCD screen or a multi-monitor workstation it shows one source or up to four at once in a custom layout, with zoom, overlays and OSD text. A keyboard and mouse connected to the receiver control the remote computer (KVM).

Transmitter or receiver as needed

The TX/RX switch on the rear panel sets the role of each unit, so one type of device covers the whole system. Front indicators show power and operating status. The metal housing measures 160 × 128 × 37.1 mm, weighs 0.4 kg and draws at most 20 W.

Rear-panel connectors

The rear carries DC 12 V power, a LAN port, HDMI input and output, the TX/RX switch, audio input and output on Phoenix terminals, an RS-232 serial port for controlling other devices and two USB-A ports for keyboard and mouse. Audio is carried as AAC or G711A – embedded in HDMI or external.
