D-series director monitor with 4K and HDR

The Desview D17-HDR is a high-performance broadcast and field production monitor built for precise, reliable monitoring in demanding professional environments. Its 17.3" UHD 4K display with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 offers exceptional clarity, 400-nit brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 170° viewing angle. With HDR support and a 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut, it delivers accurate colour reproduction and enhanced dynamic range for critical image evaluation.

Multi-view mode – convenient simultaneous monitoring

The screen can be set to single, dual, triple or quad view and supports picture-in-picture mode to meet different monitoring needs.

H in the layout name stands for a horizontal picture and V for a vertical one – layouts with vertical windows suit short vertical videos.

Three power supply modes for long-lasting power

The monitor supports V-mount batteries, an AC power cord and an XLR power adapter. Three different power supply modes adapt to the shooting needs of different scenes.

Tally light

The front tally light provides three different colour signals: red, green and blue. The T stand shown is optional.

Professional auxiliary functions

Built-in histograms, waveform and vectorscope intuitively display light, shade and colour conditions, allowing you to observe every frame and achieve the best results. False colour, zebra lines, peak focus, monochrome display, colour settings, aspect ratio, centre marker, safety frame, composition assist, shortcut keys, multi-view display and picture-in-picture settings are also available.

17.3" 4K UHD display

A 3840 × 2160 picture with 255 PPI pixel density and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Colour space, gamma and colour temperature can be selected in the menu.

Front panel controls

The front panel has buttons for direct switching of the HDMI 1–3 and SDI 1–2 inputs, six programmable keys F1–F6 (by default mute, picture-in-picture, two, three and four pictures, and picture rotation) and a menu dial that adjusts the volume when no menu is shown.

The menu also offers freeze frame, rotation by 0, 90, 180 or 270°, pixel to pixel, timecode (D-VITC, LTC), audio meters for 2, 8 or 16 channels and aspect ratio selection.
