The 24.5-megapixel FX-format image sensor and powerful EXPEED 7 image processor deliver impressive FX-format image quality that surpasses the capabilities of everyday smartphone photography.

Colors, textures, and details are preserved even in low light; backlit scenes can be captured in all their beauty; and in-camera image stabilization keeps handheld shots sharp.

Focusing on moving subjects, even in low light, is easy thanks to an intelligent autofocus system that recognizes people, pets, vehicles, and birds. The Z5IIC is also the first Nikon Z camera capable of recognizing fish.

Touch controls allow for intuitive operation of the Z5IIC, while the high-resolution tilting and swiveling display opens up a wide range of shooting angles and provides a clear view of the frame.

To quickly achieve great results, 15 scene modes are available to automatically optimize settings based on the subject and the desired atmosphere. Nikon Imaging Recipes and the Film Grain feature make it easy to experiment with the look of your photos and videos right in the camera.

In addition, automatic firmware updates simplify camera maintenance, and there’s a NIKKOR Z lens available for everyone—regardless of their photographic focus—ready to capture the full beauty of the subject.
