Product description
The Manfrotto 500PLONG is a 120 mm aluminium sliding plate designed to balance camcorders whose long lenses or heavy batteries shift the centre of gravity. Rubber grip strips, a removable anti-rotation pin and the supplied 1/4″ camera screw with 1/4″-to-3/8″ adapter provide secure, flexible mounting.
Balance long camera setups
More travel for better balance
The extended plate gives front-to-back adjustment for camera rigs with uneven weight distribution.
120 mm length
Extra sliding range helps position the camera’s centre of gravity over the head.
Secure contact
Rubber grip strips and a removable anti-rotation pin reduce unwanted movement.
Flexible mounting
A 1/4″ screw and 1/4″-to-3/8″ adapter are supplied.
When the long version helps
Choose 500PLONG when a telephoto lens, matte box or rear battery prevents a shorter plate from reaching a balanced position.
