Manfrotto MVK500AM is a lightweight aluminium video system combining the MVH500A fluid head, MVT502AM twin-leg tripod, 60 mm half ball and a mid-level spreader. Its side-lock platform speeds up camera mounting, the fixed 2.4 kg counterbalance assists smooth tilts, and the 8 kg safety payload accommodates camcorders or rigged mirrorless cameras. A 67.5–154 cm working range, 3.56 kg system weight and included carrying bag make location changes easier.

Smooth movement, fast camera setup and stable twin legs in a portable system.
MVK500AM combines a side-lock fluid head, a 60 mm half ball and an aluminium twin-leg tripod. Fixed 2.4 kg counterbalance supports common camcorders and rigged hybrid cameras.

Fast side-lock setup
The long 500PLONG plate slides in from the side, so the camera does not need to travel through the entire clamp. Fluid drag on both axes keeps motion controlled and readable.
Stability on set
Three-section twin legs, a mid-level spreader and 60 mm half ball make levelling fast. A 72 cm closed length remains practical for transport.
A considered system for real production
The system weighs 3.56 kg and works from 67.5 to 154 cm. It suits documentary, corporate, event and compact studio setups where fast repositioning matters.
