Manfrotto Befree Live – aluminium video tripod M‑Lock/Twist

The Manfrotto Befree Live MVKBFRT‑LIVE is a compact aluminum video tripod kit designed for travel, vlogging, and shooting with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smaller camera. The four-section legs feature smooth M-Lock twist locks with no protruding levers, while the fluid head with a 501PL plate offers consistent resistance in both pan and tilt movements and independent locks for both movements. The kit weighs 1.64 kg, safely supports up to 4 kg, measures 40 cm when folded, and reaches a height of 150 cm.

CONSTANT RESISTANCE FOR PAN AND TILT

The fluid cartridge smooths out panning and tilting motions, and two separate controls lock each movement independently. The 501PL sliding video plate helps balance the camera, while the included panoramic handle allows for precise framing. A single spirit level makes it easy to align the horizon.

M-Lock Rotating Locks

QUICK SETUP WITHOUT PROTRUDING LEVERS

M-Lock locks wrap around the leg tubes, allowing the tripod to slide easily into luggage. Each leg can be independently opened to an angle of 22°, 54°, or 89°, and the Easy Link accepts a compatible arm with a light or monitor. The same kit is also available as an aluminum lever-lock version (MVKBFRL-LIVE) and a lighter carbon fiber twist-lock version (MVKBFRTC-LIVE).
