A compact location kit

The aluminium support and compact top spider are designed for travelling videographers using suitable DSLR, mirrorless or small camcorder setups within the 4 kg certified payload. The three independently selectable leg angles give flexibility for low viewpoints and uneven ground; check the footing and lock the legs before filming.

A rapid centre column extends the maximum height to 151 cm, or 130 cm with the column lowered; minimum height and folded length are both 40 cm. The head offers 360° pan and a −90°/+65° tilt range. Its sliding 501PL quick-release plate helps position the camera.

Easy Link accepts compatible accessory arms for lights or reflectors. One bubble level assists alignment. The black/silver kit has single-tube legs with diameters of 12, 15.5, 19 and 22.5 mm, a 40 mm base and upper disc, and a specified operating range of −30 °C to +60 °C. It needs no batteries and includes a carrying bag.

SWIT MUF50 is an alternative with a 5 kg payload and dynamic counterbalance. It weighs 2.23 kg rather than 1.75 kg and folds to 43 cm rather than 40 cm. It uses a different camera plate, not a direct 501PL replacement; compare these tradeoffs and current prices for your setup.
