Manfrotto MK290XTA3-2W – 290 Xtra Tripod with 128RC Fluid Head

The Manfrotto MK290XTA3-2W is a complete 290 Xtra aluminum video tripod with a 128RC two-way fluid head, a panoramic lever, a 200PL-14 quick-release plate, and a carrying bag. Three sections, four independent leg angles, and a quick-release center column offer a working range of 40.5–169.5 cm, while adjustable lever locks help maintain stability even after prolonged use. The kit weighs 2.56 kg and can safely support 6 kg in accordance with UNI/PdR 105:2021.

The MK290XTA3-2W configuration combines the 290 Xtra aluminum legs, the 128RC two-way fluid head, a panoramic lever, the 200PL-14 plate, and a carrying case. This is not the version with a ball head or a three-way head.

SMOOTH PAN AND TILT

The two-way fluid head offers independent pan and tilt locking, a tilt range of −60° to +90°, and 360° panoramic rotation. The 200PL-14 quick-release plate features a secondary lock.

FOUR LEG ANGLES

Each leg can be independently adjusted to 25°, 46°, 66°, or 88°. Three-section aluminum tubes and a tension-adjustable lever lock provide a stable base both in the studio and on location.

QUICK-RELEASE CENTER COLUMN

The center column extends the working height to 169.5 cm; with the column retracted, the tripod reaches 146 cm. A rubber sleeve on the leg improves grip when carrying.
