A 2.59 kg aluminium kit with MH804-3W head and 200LT-PL plate. Adjust three axes separately and use the 90° column for low viewpoints. The supplied plate is limited to 4 kg.

Overhead without moving the legs
The centre column moves between vertical and horizontal positions for tabletop, macro and overhead framing. Four independently selected leg angles help position the support; the head provides separate pan and tilt locks.
Manufacturer demonstration shows the included tripod legs without the head; this kit includes the MH804-3W head.
Switch the column safely
Follow the original leg-manual sequence:
4.1 — loosen E
4.2 — press R and raise column D fully
4.3 — turn D through 90°
4.4 — slide D into W and tighten E
Keep your hand clear when returning the column to vertical: the Fig. 5 pinch warning applies.
Control, carrying and safe setup
Three telescopic aluminium leg sections use tension-adjustable lever locks. Rubber leg warmers help your grip, while the four angle settings and rubber feet support positioning indoors or outdoors. The kit folds to 74 cm; a carrying bag is not included. The technical-polymer head has retractable handles for transport and the 200LT-PL quick-release plate.
When returning the column to vertical, keep your hand clear of the column and pivot to avoid pinching, following the leg manual. The optional carrying strap and counterweight are not included; the manual’s bare-leg figures do not describe the complete kit.
The current manufacturer lists a 10 kg safety payload under UNI/PdR 105:2021 for this kit. This is a separate certified figure, not permission to exceed the supplied 200LT-PL plate’s 4 kg limit. The weakest component and the actual setup determine the usable load.
For leg-lock tension adjustment, the manual specifies the supplied key N on a leg. The TORX 25 key for replacing a locking collar is not supplied.
UKAirscape’s 2016 video shows the 290 Dual with three-way head and its overhead setup. Demonstration equipment is not included; follow the manufacturer’s stability and column-handling instructions, not historical purchasing information.
